Dear all,

We are sorry for having left this site idle for nearly half a year. We admit that at the beginning of the year we wished to try everything new to give you surprises, but then we failed to keep practising some of what we have started.

These days we are busy preparing for the Joing School Summer Camp with St. Rose of Lima's College, probably the last function by the Student Council in this academic year. With the theme "Sin City", we wish to let participants know more about criminal psychology. Hope everyone enjoys this camp.

At this moment you may wonder what the function of the Student Council is besides organizing different activities. Actually it is common for students to think of "What's good about this year's Student Council? They just keep organizing previous years' functions. What have they done?" Having been a junior student, I have also had such feelings. But then is a tonnes-of-functions-oriented Student Council a good one?

When you have got to the position, you will start to learn about the situation. The Student Council silently fight for things for the students - the club system, the school policies, the tuck shop stuffs, etc.. Students seldom know about so because we never get up to the stage and announce what on earth we have gained for you from the school. We are not like legislators who always tell citizens how much time longer they have fight for the green traffic light.

Here comes the beginning of the new academic year. We hope our work did not disappoint you and that the newly elected Student Council can learn from our evaluations to serve and give you another fruitful year.

John Tso
Vice-president of the Student Council 04-05

You may wonder why we are barely updating the site~ To be frank, we are currently busy preparing all the functions and activities of the Teacher-Student Month. We wish to provide you an unforgetable and meaningful November, which will "bridge the gap" between the teachers and the students.

The very first activity will be the Teacher-Student Debate Match on 8/11 in the hall afterschool. Experts claimed the match to be "the war of the century", with our assistant Principal Mr. Leung, Mr. Chung Cheuk Bun, Mr. Ho Tak Kei and Mr. Chung Chak Keung participating. Together with the other fourt student representatives from the Chinese Debating Society, We are sure you will be enjoying a marvellous match. For further information, please refer to the posters around the school campus.

Functions like the Teacher-Student Football and Basketball Match are following, so please do pay attention to our promotion of the Teacher-Student Month! We hope that respecting teachers should not be done only in this November, but throughout our entire life!

Hello everybody~ After a week's preparation work for the coming year's student council affairs and tidying up of the really messy student council office, Queen's College Student Council 2004-2005 is finally ready to serve the fellow students.

During our preparing for the coming November, which is the month for the Teachers and Students, students can come to our office for photocopying or buying exercise books or borrowing balls. Please come to our office for further information!

This site will be kept on renewing and please feel free to leave your comments here!

John Tso, vice-president of the Student Council
